Despite the rain, the 25 cent sale went on! Everything had to be set up inside, but people still stopped in.
The church was able to raise around $280 for the Children's Ministries... and at just a quarter an item - that's A LOT of stuff! Thank you to everyone who helped work the sale - Dennis and Mary, Angel, Abby, Sandy, Janis, and Diane - it couldn't have happened without you!
Pastor Bub is ready for one last surgery (Lord willing). This is Step 2 in a two surgery process to reverse the ostomy. He will be under Dr. Clingan's care at St. John's hospital in Tulsa. This will be a much less invasive procedure than the other surgeries and Pastor Bub should be out of the hospital in aobut 3 days.
After 15 months as a "colostomate", I can't tell you how excited he is to be back to "normal"!

Sarah Miller |
Hi! I'm Pastor Miller's wife! I get to be in charge of blogging, since my husband is "uncomfortable" with the computer... So, from time to time, you'll see posts here from me, and sometimes posts from Pastor. We'll let you know who's doing the writing! I am a 32 year old mother of 4 kids. Our oldest 3 kids are biological, and we adopted our 4th. I graduated from Evangel University in Springfield, Mo in 2000 with a degree in Special Education. I have been a full time wife and mom, however, for the past 8 years. |
